Getting to Know Us
We encourage parent participation at your child’s first dental visit. Dr. Pace strongly supports the advice of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry that a child’s first visit to the dentist occurs by 12 months of age.
We feel that through early education and guidance we can best help parents and children toward the prevention of dental problems. A positive experience early on for both parent and child will set the tone for your child’s future dental health.
Regular Visits
We encourage regular, periodic visits to monitor dental development and educate your child on oral hygiene techniques as well as try to ensure that any dental problems are treated early on. This more proactive approach can result in treatment that is more effective, less traumatic and less costly.
Your scheduled appointment is reserved specifically for your child. If the need to cancel an appointment arises, please call the office at least 24 hours in advance so that we may accommodate another patient.
For your convenience recall appointments are made at the end of each scheduled recall visit, typically six months in advance.
We strive to see all patients promptly for their scheduled appointment. Please remember that we work directly with children and children’s behavior can be unpredictable. Please inform our scheduler if you or your child has any special needs. Please help us schedule your appointment at the best time of day for you.
Additionally, there are times when our schedule is delayed to accommodate children with dental emergencies. This is a courtesy we extend to all patients.
